"Thoughts to give birth to principles"
One of the most disturbing experiences one can face in a modern society is coming home to only to find he/she has been burgled or to wake up to a burgled home. A victim of any kind of robbery usually feels like he/she has been indecently invaded physically and emotionally.

So bearing the above in mind does a victim of burglary or robbery have the right to take the law into his/her own hands. Some say in terms of mere apprehension (for example tackling a robber to the ground, tying him up, and then calling the police) it is acceptable and even necessary, but to spitefully injure or harm an intruder in the name of revenge isn't right. Others say the owner of the home has the right to do whatever he/she likes to an intruder even if it involves blowing the intruder's brains out.

In situations laid out above, the term that springs into mind is self-control . When dealing with any kind of problem, or scenario it is unadvisable to be lead by your emotions. A man/ woman that is lead by his/her emotions is guaranteed to create a truckload of problems in his/her lifetime. It is good too acknowledge what your heart is saying but your head should have the final say. If you make a decision based solely on how you feel then it is very unlikely that decision will be sound.

So in a nutshell taking the law into your own hands by spitefully harming an intruder unnecessarily may feel right while giving into anger, but in truth such an act can leave you in trouble with the law and taint you in the context of morality.

This is free advice, do what you want with it.
